Baggage Or Luggage ?

Do you have baggage? well I do lots of it and some good luggage LOL and have sold some of it and keeping some a little longer however a friend is always wanting to buy my vintage alligator luggage and an old hat box luggage piece. I think I want to keep them a little longer ,but anyway on my last trip up to Lexington I did pick up a couple pieces she can buy if she likes them
This make up carrying case is a American Tourister  and in very good shape that someone gave me recently and I used it this weekend

                                                                 

here are my 3 new vintage pieces, the hat box on the bottom is in great shape 


I really like this Samsonite hat box piece of luggage , did I say that already?


This little red Samsonite piece is very good shape I know Brenda will want it ,those are my toes LOL





It has been a real cloudy day today or I would drag the alligator set out for pictures and I don't have good lighting in my house due to lots of big trees in my yard.
I'll get it the next sunny day 

ps SOMEBODY help me stay out of JoAnn fabrics store!! I want every charm and piece of jewelry in that store
Oh and ALL the rhinestone braid back where the trims are LOL OMG love it ALL

    Sounds like you know the fabric store layout..LOL. I love sweet pieces of luggage..so much. Oh yeah, if I ever got my hands on alligator luggage I'd keep it. I have some off white samsonite. Those pieces look new. xoxo,Susie

    I try and stay out of the Fabric store too, not easy at all! I love your luggage...and yes, dear, I too have baggage...and bags and luggage! LOL

    Oh my goodness, the luggage makes me remember there was a time when you would travel with multiple bags and even special ones for cosmetics and for hats. Big sigh. Now we stuff a single backpack to the gills so we we don't have to check a bag. Those were the days!

    I can't help anyone stay out of a fabric store. While you are looking at all of those goodies, I would be oohing and ahhing over the fabric!

    I have a little red Samsonite makeup suitcase in the back of my closet. Not sure what to do with it, but can't part with it either!

    It's MY SAMSONITE!! And the very piece I always coveted, for the hatbox/bandbox did not come with our four-piece set in the fifties. I can still smell the scent of exciting travel when I open that little train case---Coty powder and Evening in Paris and whatever Revlon I was partial to at the time.

    And Coppertone---that scent will ever evoke Summer---what a delightful memory you've kindled. I'm so glad to discover your blog!

    Love your vintage suitcases!! I had a round one like that and got rid of it about 20 years ago...UGH!! That was when i was young and stupid!! LOL!!
