Beautiful Finds

 Hi

Oh my I have already had lots fun going to estate sales and resale shops this spring, sure you have also.
I know I need to clean out, sale or give away lots of items around my house because it is getting cluttered around here. I'll just stick some things under my bed ? LOL I bought another complete set of Mason dishes a flowered transferware and just couldn't pass them up for the price of $41 for 76 pieces nothing chipped, however I forgot to get the sugar bowl lid ! Darn,left it on the check out table



Now that I'm not working I can play a lot more in the studio and treasure shopping.I do enjoy arranging things in the studio. I have an idea for rearranging a few pieces of furniture






I still have plants sitting around tin the studio windows that I brought in last fall and not sure it's warm enough to put them outside quite yet.

It's very cool and very cloudy here today so I will be busy inside all day. I need to get some bedding plants out also.

Holy Saturday Happy Easter

I have cooked today made a blackberry cobbler have my potato salad and cole slaw ready,daughter is cooking meat and coconut cake.My grandsons have colored their eggs for our annual egg hunt tomorrow

Pink Saturday Party 

Inside Birds

Well I do believe spring has finally came to central Missouri and the birds are happy and so am I.
I still throw out sunflower seeds for my birds year around, just feed them more in the winter then always have water for them

Anyway I bought this embossed cardboard picture frame with birds on it at a shop in Chesterfield Antique Mall at their warehouse sale and I loved it soon as I seen it. Not perfect for you people who want only perfect items LOL See the top left corner.



The colors are good and look at the birds ! it's about a 8 x 10 inch frame. I tried different pictures and different ephemera papers and nothing looked good.



So I started going through drawers of papers I have and seen this music paper and thought, YES the birds are singing, so used this.





I have been outside a lot today, raking my yard dragging out flower pots  from my garden shed and painting an item and haven't completed one project . I have just gone from one thing to another. This is what I usually do I get so excited when I get an idea about something.

A friend said this frame is from around 1910

I have enough energy to get back outside and fill a bag of leaves where I cleaned out my peonies bed. They are coming up beautifully. I'm sure your flowers are also ? Hope you are busy also.
