Plaid Cookie Cutters

I have seen so many cute projects with cookie cutters and liked this one.

Take any cookie cutters glue to any paper you like.
I took these pictures on one of our dark rainy days we have had a lot of this last week.,

   Can you believe it's  December 1st ??

I started with just three not sure how they would turn out
My all time favorite the stocking then angel and snowflake
Then one of my plaid Christmas sacks from previous years

I used Mod Podge glue and laid the cookie cutters on the paper smeared with mod podge then I even put a heavy dab all around the cookie cutters laid the cookie cutters on my pretty plaid paper and let it dry over night. Now I need to get some red ribbon on them. I did punch a hole with my hole puncher before I glued them down on the paper

The sun is out this morning so got a picture hanging in the window ,they will be hung on the pulls of my chippy cabinet in the kitchen

I want to say a big Thank You for all mt sweet comments on my previous post about my Chandelier Cigar Box creation I did xoxoxo

  1. Good Afternoon Janice, I love this idea. I have quite a few biscuit cutters which I can use and I love the idea of re-purposing an old Christmas sack. These lovely cutters will look fabulous hanging from your kitchen cabinets.
..... now where are my biscuit cutters.... I will need to root around my cupboards.
We are experiencing, grey, rainy days here in the North of England as well.
    Best Wishes

  17. What a great idea! And plaid is so "in" this year as well (although I've always thought plaid was timeless).
