Sit Pink

It is fun to look around and see what all I have to do a post about pink since it's Pink Saturday over on How Sweet The Sound Blog
First thing I thought of was my pink chair that I painted a few years ago for my studio table

Then of course I have lots little pink items  for vignettes on shelf in the studio. These adorable pink rhinestone clothespins I got at Michael's . I need to go get more because this is all I have left I have gave so many away to friends

I love pink ribbon paper or silk and have a shelf full of ribbons I'll just show some of the pink ones also my poke a dot duck tape

more pink among my treasures

This is a pin cushion I made of of very old fabric and a ironstone cream pitcher I may list this in my etsy shop it has 3 antique stick pins or hat pins in it

I could go on and on with pink however this is enough pink pictures for one post
The rain has finally stopped and I think I see the sun coming up

Have a great weekend and enjoy this nice weather  however it was cool enough this morning I almost turned my furnace on , I resisted and put on a sweater

  1. So perfectly pink!! How in the world did you paint that chair? It looks like it has upholstery?

    1. It does have upholstery. I just opened my can of pink satin latex paint and painted till the seat was covered good ,I let it dry in between layers however it was a very warm day and it dried quickly. I think the chair had green striped seating upholstery

  6. Good Afternoon Janice, I would never have described myself as a 'Pink Girl', but as I have grown older, I am drawn to pink and I am surprised at how much pink is around my house.
I love your pink chair, it is really lovely and I love your pin cushion.... the antique pins are really my cup of tea.... I love them.
Do you see there is a lot of 'love' in this comment.

  10. So much pink cuteness! I have to say that my favorite is that little ornament in the salt shaker -- how adorable and a great idea for a little hostess gift during the holidays.

  11. Janice,
Oh, I am a ribbon hoarder, dear one. . .and I L O V E your stack of pink ribbons!!!
Years ago, when I was making handmade cards,
I made a pink ribbon purchase in haste and it wouldn't work on my cards.
    Throw it away??? No way!!!
    I unwound the entire roll,
put it in a bowl and placed it under the chair in my Studio One.
It was gorgeous on the eyes and a reminder to buy more carefully!!!
Did you paint the fabric pink in your chair, also???
I've been tempted to try that on my chair in my creative space.
If you have a tutorial with product list, I'd love to read your DIY!!!
Thank you for your sweet visit and kind comment!
    Fondly,
    Pat
