I bought two of these old iron chippy white plant stands at our only resale shop a couple years ago and have used them for stacking dishes in my kitchen I put them up on my yellow chippy old dresser and stacked plates and other dishes I like on them. You know how it is move things around a lot
Now I do have them in the studio in the south window with my basil & rosemary plants on them. I plan on putting my jars of buttons on them next. Also I have seen the reproductions of these at different decor shops. They are must lighter in weight as my old ones.
I set them up on my old wooden ironing board to get pictures of the legs which I love
Soon as I seen these I knew wanted them they were already distressed looking chippy and all
I had moved my old cotton lace and was looking for it so threw some of it in the picture as I found it. Have you noticed I am always looking for something in the studio? That is not just because age it is just having to many treasures. I do have a lot of my containers labeled also.
Sally was watching so I threw her picture in on this post. I need to redress her somehow she has wore this outfit for some time now LOL
Love It !!
I have never been a fan of gold or yellow color however this old cotton lace trim was in a box I bought at an auction and since it was old I had to keep it
As I downsize my studio treasures I am sure I will keep all my vintage lace and anything sewing related.
This piece is a square collar and I had the idea of using it to cover a book painted white use this for the outside cover then embellish it of course

With a creative mind, you can turn the ugliness of things into a piece of beauty. I kinda like the plant stands just as they are.
