Today Is my Mom's Birthday she would have been 86. She died from having cancer like so many other people. She was 74 when she passed, it was hard to loose a mother. I know lots of other daughters have lost their Mothers's also.
Now for the after shots of my painting day.
I will sell this little night stand at the flea market Oct 9th. I decided to use a pink satin ribbon for the bottom handle. I think it looks so shabby chic, maybe something Rachel Ashwell would do? Miss Shabby Chic herself.
I didn't get the doll buggy painted, ran out of paint. I will finished it this week, however we have rain in the forecast. I can use the garage to paint in.
One more studio picture. Blue bottles in my window.
wow !! All of that turned out amazing. I actually like the ribbon idea ...you have done Rachell proud.. = )

They all look great. Maybe it's a sign you should leave the carriage as is...it's mighty cute!!

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog! So sorry to hear about your mom-my mom died at only 57 and it was devastating...I'll never forget the first mothers day without her. I walked in to CVS pharmacy and saw all the mothers day stuff and just burst into tears. Try to keep good memories in mind on this sad anniversary.
