It's still icy and very cold here, however the sun is out this morning. I am staying in and making Valentine cards and a pot of soup, also trying to find things LOL as usual, always looking for something. Don't You?
In my what I call my home office I have lots empty large gold frames on a wall and have smaller frames inside of them, most are very old chippy frames which I like a lot. Thought I would show a few for this post
I don't follow instruction on how to make your home pretty I just do what I like and stick it all together LOL I love Charles Faudree the designer and would love to have one of his french kitchens he designed years ago he passed away however I'm always looking for his large table top books
I found this round star burst frame once in a resale shop for $1
This picture below is a newer frame 1990's.I still love my red walls in my office, they need repainted I had a painter paint it several years ago and now it's looking sort of french, you know like the paint is rubbing off in areas
These frames are mostly wood
Since it's close to Valentine's I'll post this sweet little picture which is a piece of toile material I framed
Also the sheep is out of the same piece of material.I have them hanging inside of a larger frame
I am glad to be home this morning and working on a couple projects before I have to get out and about, hope your Saturday is good also.

I decided to add my Valentine I made from a Dollar Tree Chalkboard heart
I had to add my rhinestones of course and notice the feather on my rooster tail, more french toile pattern which I love
You're so smart to go with what you love -- and it works. Your chalkboard is lovely and so is the frame.
ReplyDeleteI love designer ideas, but like you, I decorate the way I love tod. How pretty your chalkboard heart is and your frames are so lovely!
ReplyDeleteI love your style and taste. Those ornate vintage frames are just to die for! I'd love to see the whole wall you've arranged them on. Framing the fabric pieces is unique and wonderful, too. Just such lovely eye candy!
ReplyDeleteYour frames are all so pretty, I like how you have them arranged in your office. :) Pretty Valentine too and I like the toile in those small frames. xoxo

I too have a collection of old ornate wood frames but no walls to display them on! I hang them now and then, changing other things out. I love the look of an empty frame on the wall!
ReplyDeleteYour frames are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI love all your frames and how you are displaying them. As a long time collector of antiques, I can remember when you wouldn't touch one that was so distressed and now, I certainly wish I had taken all that I had seen. I have a few but am going to look for more, of course, the prices have all gone up now..Such as life, but yours are so pretty as well as your valentines..Happy Sunday..Judy000000000000000000
