First I want to show you around this place which had the most fabulous pottery and planters. I always like anything with a face on it , so showing them first them I will show what I purchased
look at the 1/2 face planter
iron frogs with crowns
ball of moss
On our way out of town we stopped at the garden club's sale and I bought a flower pot for $1.00
Then we passed a sale that said Plant Sale at a ladies house and I bought some plants that I can't even tell you there names, I forget easy , not familiar with new plants LOL anyway the leaves smell so good, some kind of germanium I think ?
Then I worked a couple hours getting my planters filled and then had a nice rain on them
So here is the planter I could not leave behind, I named it Dancing Ladies
I absolutely love it , I have a smaller planter that matches it , I bought a few years ago , not sure what I will put in it, any suggestions?
I put succulents in the smaller dancing ladies
Then here is the Mrs & Mr planters with their succulents in them I think as they grow out it will be wonderful to look at
Susan is digging up a large hydrangea and giving it to me
We both could have spent a small fortune there

ReplyDeletethey were sooooooooo cute and of course now I wish I had bought one $8.99 each, and a 35 miles drive back over there
DeleteOh, that is just the one that I would have picked!!! I love those gorgeous dancing ladies! The flowers all looked divine, no wonder you had a hard time choosing. I can never remember the names of flowers either, I just know what I like!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful find.
Hugs,
Patti
I love them all...Happy weekend...janice
ReplyDeleteThat is a most amazing place. If they weren't so heavy I would order some. Love the one you purchased. Your Mr. and Mrs. are so cute. Mr. does not look very happy. Maybe he will feel better when his hair grows out. blessings, Ginger
ReplyDeleteYes my Mr planter is not a happy man, LOL but I thought together they are so charming, maybe he doesn't like the outdoors?? LOL
DeleteLooks like a fun place. Thanks for sharing this with us this week at the Sunday Round Up Link Party.
ReplyDeleteSee you next week,
Rose @ http://www.arosiesweethome.com/
I love gardens, garden ornaments, and interesting containers. Lots of eye candy here for me! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteOh it's wonderful when we can share our flowers, thats what my post is about today too. I love the pot you chose--those ladies I think would be pretty with Gerber Daisies is them. I love the pots that are heads, I don't have any of those but I may be looking now.

I love your Mr and Mrs planters...beautiful...all of them!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see that dancing ladies planter - I have 4 pieces from a broken one that I use in my garden as art. I got them out of a friends parents garbage pile at their farm!
ReplyDeleteI was trying to follow your blog...but there is no follow button on the top left...that is usually how I like to follow blogs...I get too many e-mails if I follow with e-mail all the time...and I dont really do the google thing...blogging is getting frustrating..as so many things are changing all the time. Usually I feel I am pretty good online...but I cant always keep up with the changes. Do you know why you dont have a follow tab on the top? There is Share...Report Abuse..and Next Blog...but no follow. Dont worry if you dont know...but I have come across this lately quite a bit...my blog is lovingallthingsfrench.blogspot.com. I do love that head planter. Ballard designs has one...but it is much greener with fake moss on it...I like it better more greyish. Thanks for your time! Peace, Laura
ReplyDeleteLaura I am so sorry I don't know what to tell you, I was ask to put the follow by email on and then of course I have linky & google.
DeleteI don't know how the word FOLLOW gets at the top left, I don't think I have control over that, unless someone else can help with this ? and tell me how to add it
thanks for coming over , hope you come back
Thank you for visiting me! I just love this time of year and visiting the green house. Yard art/statues love it all!

ReplyDeleteOh I'd love to have one of those "head" planters... how super cute those would be with plants hanging down as hair... neat!!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful statuaries! I love the Mr. and Mrs. I just found an image that I pinned with a grouping of the head planters all filled with succulents...they looked incredible! Now I think I want to find some!
ReplyDeleteI know what your plant is called that smells like geranium. I'll think of it in a minute. :) Thanks for the tour of the nursery and planter place. That was fun and I love what you bought. Our Farmer's Market opens today and I am heading out to buy plants shortly. And I want to find a special planter for the back door. Hope you have a wonderful day and visit when you can.

Thanks for the Mr. & Mrs. alert! Succulents will be wonderful for them especial when they fill out this summer. All those other head planters were gorgeous but I know they are so pricey. I have not planted my Henry yet for spring and I determined to find him a Henrietta this year. We have frost warnings for tonight so I have to cover stuff again to night, I hate that! Thanks for stopping by, Laura
ReplyDeleteI have bought 3 garden heads so far for my cacti and succulent garden. I need 2 more. Got a gorgeous one at Brimfield. Once I have all 5 of them and they are planted I will blog about them. Yours are realy great:)
