Round Mirror in Square Frame

Well the beautiful Waverly Country Life toile wall paper is up on my walls! LOL I just love it also. My pictures are just random pictures of the room. I still need to move a couple things back in and hang a picture or two, but you will get the just of the room.

Gina did a great job and I appreciate her so much, or otherwise I may not have this pretty room.

This is an after picture of the wall behind my dresser, I took the original mirror off and added this large frame I found in an antique mall in Jefferson City then I hung my round mirror in the center.

I also found a new rug that I liked that I thought fit into the room good. I am moving the cord fyi

This is the before picture of my dresser and original mirror for it, guess it will go in the storage room till yard sale time

Where this ugly cord is I had a huge bakers rack along this wall and really don't want it back in the room? just don't know where else to put it beside the studio. I also had it loaded with books and other treasures I liked to display.

This is my night side table and toile lamp I got years ago, love the look of the wall

Here i'm trying to decide which lamp to use

This is the window above my night side table

LOVE THIS LOOK

Shurlee will be glad when this is all completed

  10. I agree that the round mirror inside of a large rectangle was a brilliant idea. I love the rug, too. I think at this point you should bring in a plain color with the lamps. Pale yellow or white or red, I think. I think there is enough pattern now and the eye needs someplace to rest to enjoy the French pattern. I love the room. Isn't it amazing how rich it looks? It all looks custom done.

  12. Oh I love your mirrors! Do you have any B & W toile fabric that you could sew a cord cover. It might blend in a bit better. I too fight the cord battle.

  15. Ooohlala...that toile paper is fabulous, what a change!!! The framed round mirror is just perfect and definitely a keeper just like you have it. As for the lamp, my heart says the one with the birds and vines, as the height looks proportionate to the other items.
