Tree Display

I am slowly working on getting my tree up just today, Yesterday I did get lots of my little bottle brush trees out and set all along the top of my old chippy dish cabinet.I may rearrange them after I look them over but for now i'm satisfied.

This was a sweet surprise from my newest friend Bernideen. She really just layed it on my front porch them text me about it. I immediately got some wire and hung it around my mailbox. It's fresh greens and berries. I love it and it warmed my heart knowing she thought of me .

I will continue on today by working on my white tree and all the trimmings .

I am enjoying watching all my cardinals eat, there is about 30 outside on my patio where I throw black sunflower seeds and have been putting shelled corn out for my squirrels however they prefer the sunflower seeds.

  1. Your cabinet top is so charming, I love bottle brush trees and you have a splendid collection.

  2. The cabinet top looks darling and I love the whole style. That clock is sure cute too!

  3. Oh, my gosh, I am envious of all those bottle brush trees. They look beautiful arranged on your shelf with the other decorations. I have been collecting some over the past year or two. I try to buy the vintage ones on E-bay or at other antique type places but I notice that they are in stores now more than usual.

I'll be interested to see your white tree. I don't have my tree up yet but for the last 15 years or so I have decorated my small green faux pine tree with only white and silver ornaments and white lights, so I'm curious to see how you do yours.

How lovely of Bernideen to gift you that beautiful wreath! I still don't have a wreath up out side. I'll get to it, although I'll have to deal with clearing 9" of snow off the front porch which we just accumulated over the last two days! It is beautiful, though. Guess we can probably count on a white Christmas unless we have a heat wave between now and the 25th!

  4. Positively beautiful decorating, love the bottle brush tree display, thank-you for sharing with us.

    Merry Christmas

  5. It's like a Cedar forest, love it! I got a wreath too, it is around my statue on my front birdbath. I have never had a real wreath before! So sunflower seeds huh, and just throw them on the ground? I haven't been having any bird visitors! boo hoo

  6. My squirrels preferred to eat my patio cushions...every single one of them! No more Mrs. Nice Guy. Thanks for dropping by for a visit. I love your brush trees!!
