I told you in my previous post about my sisters cleaning out closets and giving me her button box? Well here is a few pictures of some of my favorite buttons. The one grey shell button is my favorite and then the mirror back metal buttons then the glass buttons

ReplyDeleteGosh, you have many of the same. I stick a piece of costume jewelry in each jar of buttons I sell and tape the jar closed so no picking out buttons. Love many of yours.
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize we had the same name.. I love your buttons I too love buttons. Used to find many from dads trucks. But one summer when we used to flea market dad took my special can of buutons and such without me knowing because I didn't go someone stold them. I was so sad.. Glad you got the ones you loved from your sister makes it more special. Ty for your visit with love Janice. ps Happy weekend

ReplyDeleteI love the blue plate your sis finally gave to you. It has such clear markings on it. And the windsor chair--I have one in my living room; it is quite old and I'd love it if it were worth 300 but I wonder …. since antiques aren't as beloved as they once were.

Some of those buttons are gorgeous. I love looking through a jar of buttons, so many colors, sizes and patterns. And best of all, it is a collection that doesn't take up oodles of space.
