Here is the chair I wanted a windsor comb back style . I was thrilled with the price of $40
It sets proudly in my cluttered kitchen till I can take a couple chairs downstairs
Then I bought this sweet little piano music box. I thought I had broke myself from buying stuff like this just because it's cute and adorable and because I liked, but guess I'm not broke yet.
The little cherubs angels were just to cute to pass up, tell me i'm right? LOL The tune is Beethoven's Fur Elise
My 11 year old grandson played this at one of his piano recitals once
When the music's playing all the little heavenly cherubs move about playing their instruments. The little cherub on the piano goes up and down the keys
Hope you are having a nice Saturday also, I even got a short nap today
Linky parties I joined in
I think you did very well at the sale. I love that chair. The little cherubs are so sweet. I would each one of them by my daughter's names if it were my treasure. LOL. Blessings to you, xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteThat chair was a score. I sold a children's cream colored chair just like it before Christmas. Wish I had it back to sell in my booth.
ReplyDeleteOh my, that chair is such a great buy, love it. The sweet cherubs are so darling too.Blessings Francine.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great buy on the chair! I love that style! Haven't found one I could afford yet! :) And the cherubs on the piano is such a sweet little piece! ~Rhonda
ReplyDeleteWow! What a deal , Beautiful chair!
ReplyDeleteMy grandfather had a chair like that. I think one of my brothers has it now. I don't have any family furniture which makes me sad. Oh, except I have the sewing machine table (the machine is not in it) from the 1950's that I took the legs off to ship here in Puerto Rico which I use as a night stand. I love estate sales which do not happen on our little island. I did buy an Asian desk recently from a friend who is moving and a long woven reed bench that is very comfortable. It needs a little repair, and I will do that and then paint it. I would not have been able to pass up the little piano either and the cherubs are darling with your rosaries hanging in the background. I have a rosary hanging over my side of the bed. There happened to be a screw in the concrete wall which I told the painters to leave not knowing if I would ever use it, but it is not easy to hang things on a concrete wall, however I have ordered Command hooks so I can hang a few more things. Have a good weekend. Blessings, Nancy Carr
