Good Morning
First us get the sheets on the line then play with my old granitware I kept after I sold my entire collection well didn't sell the entire collection if I kept a few special pieces. I had an auction a few years ago I was moving to a different house and downsized my collections
I just love sheets blowing in the wind on a clothes line
then my neighbors were in their garden and brought me a cucumber some onions and sweet peppers. I made me a bowl of cucumbers covered with vinegar and sugar water added some fresh onions. yum this is really a country dish
I brought out some of my old blue items that i use to have in my country kitchen it was all blue and white with a few primitive items. Really it's still blue & white but the shabby chic look now with a lot of silver. I use to have pine looking cabinets now they are painted white.
I really like this china rolling pin and have used it to make pie crust. Now I just by Pillsbury if I need pie crust.
This was an granite bucket I bought can't even remember where but loved the blue & white speckles and the wood bail on the handle
This is a small berry bucket. I bought from a girl I use to work with. It was out in an old smoke house that belonged to her grandparents . I was so happy to get it back in the day
I still have a few pieces of red handled silverware maybe bakelite
jar opener
I use to love blue crockery and I thought this old BUTTER crock was a must have for a country kitchen. Now I love that Emma Bridgewater BUTTER slab
but sure I am not starting another collection
a few of my green handled kitchen gadgets
This pie tin has Germany on the stamp
The one one top is a small wash basin and the one on right is a pie pan marker Germany the little one I don't know what it is , just a small granitware tin
I like the red & blue together
I will just put these back in my storage room till I want another country look
I hope you all are enjoying this country morning in my back yard and where ever you are . I live in town not in the country but I can pretend really .

ReplyDeleteHi there and thanks for visiting me today. You have a beautiful collections of enamelware! Wow. I also have some other pieces that have holes in the bottom so they have been used as planters outdoors. I love the aqua colour best! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteOh I love your graniteware. I use to have a huge collection, then I gave it to my daughter. Such wonderful pieces and the salad sounds so cool and refreshing. I would love to see your sheep picture. They have always been one of my favorites along with cows. Don't know why, but they just fascinate me. Thanks for our visit and gracious comments. Hugs, Marty

ReplyDeleteWhat a treat it was to see your sheets blowing in the wind. I don't have a place to put a clothes line but I did at my old house. I love to dry clothes on the line. Your blue enamelware is wonderful. What a fine collection. It was fun to visit your backyard today! Thanks for visiting Cottage and Creek and have a lovely weekend.
