A Girl needs a pair of work boots

Well here is the latest old boots I found that I like. I dressed them up with pink ribbons for laces. I think they look real cute, but I am the only one so far that thinks so.  Ok ,not cute but . The girls on Magnolia  Pearl wear work boots with beautiful lace outfits.My girl friends just laughed , saying they thought they were pretty tacky. beauty is in the eye of the beholder ! right?

                              I got these at a yard sale for a quarter with the thought I was going to take them down to a local clothes bank that a church runs. They give clothing at no charge  to the homeless also needy people.

                                                            
While I was outside playing with the old red wicker chair that another neighbor had in the trash, I took some of my silver outside to see how it would look against the old chair.
First the baby spoons & cups I have collected. seems like every sale I went to for a long time had baby silver so I started a collection.

                               I should have covered the hole with something

   I had them all in the glass front cabinet on my kitchen  counter.                

                         

                              
While I was dragging stuff outside to picture for show & tell I brought out some odd pieces of silver which I love.

   This  big platter cover I got in Oklahoma City in May when I went there for a Law school graduation. I had to hit a large antique mall. Love it.

                                                         
  These are hotel silver I know, but not sure what they are. maybe soups cups. I found these at a neighborhood yard sale . The lady was moving to an assisted living apartment. I found them in a large box of tuperware. Gave $2.00 for both. Another happy purchase

I have more silver but i got tired and was going out to eat & a movie with a friend in like a few minutes and I was out in the back yard taking pictures of my treasure. She is the friend who just shook her head at my girly work boots.
