Christmas Dishes


Now that Thanksgiving is over I will start on Christmas decor around the house. First thing I wanted to do is put my Christmas dishes in my newest vintage cabinet.I can tell my pictures are not as clear as they use to be. Maybe my iphone camera is worn out?





I have been thinking about getting a new camera however it's much easier with my iphone. Maybe I need the iphone 10?




I bought these cute birds at Kent's Florist open house here in town



I added some more of my red transferware odds and ends od dishes also since this is such a big cabinet.Which I love that I got at a bargain price . I left my silver dome cover on the bottom.
I like my large platters standing in the bottom aslo.


 My Grandson gave me several felt mice for Christmas a couple years ago and had to use them since they are so cute. I'll put some on  my white tree this year



  My family is coming back over today for a ham lunch and help me get more Christmas things out.
my youngest Grandson spent the night which was a treat for both of us.. We ordered Christmas toys online since it's Black Friday. I have a new laptop ordered for me also .




I am not going out shopping today what about you? Now I love shopping don't get me wrong LOL
I have a trip planned to go to St Louis shopping

    Beautiful dishes and best of I love the new hutch where you can show them off! I'm staying home today. I don't do Black Fridays. I like to start decorating for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving Day. My big job today is hanging out our Christmas lights outdoors.

    No, I don't shop this weekend. I also am pulling Christmas out from the basement. How I love seeing everything again. I absolutely love red transferware and just picked up a new cup and saucer at an antique show. You have a beautiful collection. Love the little mice and birds too. Thinking I may need more mice. Thanksgiving was good, but now excited to celebrate Christmas all month long.

    How perfectly everything looks in your new/old cabinet. I love it all! I made a 25 mile trip to Hobby Lobby today for a package of paper clay and almost closed my eyes to keep from looking at all the 50 percent off sales. :~/

    Your Christmas dishes are beautiful and charming. I love the way you have them displayed on your cupboard shelves. I need something like that to display things on. I only have a buffet with mirror at the back--no open shelves.

    Looks great Janice! I recognize the little white snowbirds! I saw some at Kent's downtown today! His decorated Christmas trees are amazing! Such an inspiration, now I want to decorate my tree like one of those for this year but would have to buy all new ornaments, so I probably not change it then! lol
