The Turkey's have all been eaten so it's onto a Christmas Tag swap. I joined in for the first time at Art Joy Stuff tag swap. It's a White Christmas ATC Swap . Like I said my first tag swap. Deadline is December 5th if anyone can join in.
I used a post card advertising card that I picked up in Salem Oregon last month at a great girly flea market. Added the metal wings I painted and used some rhinestone and pearls for her crown
I cut the card down to specifications which was 2 1/2 inches x 3 1/2 inches and then added my embellishments and adornments . The ribbon trim on bottom was trimmed from a wide ribbon
I thought the mini Christmas wreaths added lots Christmas charm
Here is a picture of my Thanksgiving table . The big velvet pumpkin was removed and the candelabras before the turkey and all the trimmings got added to the table.Instead of using crystal glasses I used vintage footed peanut butter glasses from the 1950's. Do any of you remember these ? Peanut butter came in them and they had a metal lid .
The little ceramic orange pumpkin my 9 year old grandson made me last year.

I love the Christmas cards you made! They are very vintage looking. Your glasses are so pretty. I don't remember seeing peanut butter sold in them, but I was born in the 60's so maybe that's why.

Oh my gosh, the pumpkin your grandson made is absolutely fantastic. I bet that took him some time to make that so carefully. Now, that was a gift of love.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember peanut butter coming in those glasses. But, I remember other peanut butter glasses and I remember glasses with peanut butter and jelly swirled inside. Fun!
