My Little Mouse

Merry Christmas

I purchased this sweet little Hallmark ornament for my Grandmother when she was still alive. It reminded me of her when I first seen it she was always a seamstress and taught me how to embroidery she tried to teach me how to crochet but I just couldn't get it LOL. And who doesn't love a little Christmas Mouse? I set her in one of my sterling silver large ladles in my kitchen window

Then I love this Old World Santa made from an old quilt another item I have had for years. Since blue is my favorite color I just had to have him. A Missouri artist named Kathy Bierly made it . She use to be my neighbor then moved away to Paris. He has a  burlap back pack and he had fresh greens with red berries in it when I bought it. He is 24 inches tall

Is anybody besides me tired? I am going to bed early tonight LOL

  18. Such cute ornaments. I love ornaments with stories! Yes! I'm exhausted. Haha but it's completely self-inflicted. I have a terrible problem with holiday perfectionism.

Oh my goodness, I love the idea of curtains in the trees! I have always wanted to do that for a romantic outdoor party setting. One more thing to add to my list for 2014. So nice to make your aquaintance!
