I was on Antique Road Show

Well did ya see me? Last night Monday evening Antique Road Show from Tulsa Oklahoma show that was filmed last September. Well there was my daughter first thing in a yellow dress behind the first man with his old family chair
Then after the show and in the feedback booth well I was the last person  and I got to go on and on LOl.  I was so happy to get to get to talk so long LOL It was so fun. My daughter and I drove over to Tulsa last year after I got tickets for the first time . You go on line and apply about 6 months before the show then 3 weeks before the show I got tickets in the mail
My daughter use to think it the show  was just for old people however she had fun and lots of young people there with their Grandparents tresaures

Oh Ok on with our new year of great blogging. I just love blogging and reading all the other blogs lots of people have a business also and blogging about that for their business. I just go on and on about my treasures and where I have been and what I have bought

This morning all I could think of to post was while I walked in my guest bedroom and thought I need to dust and straighten  this room up

I am off to visit a special family and then going to get my hair cut on my way back in town today

Thanks for sharing you gold pretties. I have some gold plated vanity pieces from the 60's. I would like to display them but never have the right spot. Maybe I will write a post about them.

  8. Well Vanna I took a lot of rhinestone jewelry and found out it was signed and was about worth $100. each and my old 14 kt gold camero was signed and worth lots, and had my Great Grandmothers gold wedding band , and what I thought was worth maybe $500. a huge camero was only appraised at $125.
It was so fun to introduce myself to the men who does all the appraisels. I wanted to meet Gloria Lieberman however was told she quit the show, she was in jewlery

  9. I'd love to go to Antiques Road Show! I am one of those young(ish) people with treasures from my grandparents on both sides of my family and my great grandmother. It must have been neat to just be there with or without being on TV. Your guest room treasures are sweet. I can imagine it's an elegant experience staying there! :)

  10. Thanks for stopping by my blog today and leaving a nice comment. I love my kitties but they aren't without a great deal of maintenance. I would never leave them, not even for one day. They are too spoiled! LOL!

I'm a new follower on your blog. I'll be back to see you soon. Love the vanity pieces.

  15. Congrats on being on Antiques Road Show... they came to Glendale, AZ years ago and we went, it was a lot of fun to be there in person and get a free appraisal on the item you brought with you... also seeing everyone else's Treasures. I have Relatives in Oklahoma... Tahlequah... but haven't been back for many years... don't like the Rez much, too remote for me, I'm a City Gal. *Winks*

Thanks for stopping by with encouraging words... yes, I got out in the Sun today and thus I have a Happy Post! *Winks* I took a full day to myself to just gel, visit Friends of mine who own delightful Shops, have a Luncheon and find a few Treasures... a bit of Retail Therapy always perks up a true Junquer. *LOL* I also made an appointment while there with my Chinese Doctor/Acupuncturist/Herbalist, so I'm sure to be back to center and get my mojo back soon! *Smiles*

  21. I'm not sure exactly why but this website is loading very slow for me. Is anyone else having this issue or is it a problem on my end? I'll check back later on and see if the problem still exists.
