Home Girl

I guess all of us gals are home girls and the men home guys.
I have been entertaining  myself just fine.
I have been going through lots my table top decorating books.

Made me a mask out of my blue toile material.
Baking way to much however I have gave lots of it to one neighbor.

Anyone who knows me knows this is my favorite material.
I would love to have a pantsuit made out of this.
Just saying LOL

Below is a large comforter in my guess bedroom where no guest allowed now LOL
I purchased it from a dear friend estate who passed away last year

This sweet little gal hangs in my guest room also

I only have my phone to take pictures with so she isn't as clear as I would like.

You have all seen this picture of these little girls before I'm sure. I bought this years ago before chippy was in style and a friend couldn't understand why I wanted it since sides of frames had chips on the frame.

It's cold again, burr I was so happy to get out in
my flower beds and dig around.
Now it's been down in the 30's at night. I covered some of my
flowers I sure didn't want them froze
since I only had 5 blooms

I hope you are all staying busy,I'm so happy I have lots of interest
and plenty of STUFF in my studio to keep me busy.
I have been looking through old favorite magazine also
and some of my favorite French decor books.
Let me know what you are doing to stay busy and happy

  1. There are so many pretties here! I keep busy sewing mostly. I also bake and should be CLEANING but haven't accomplished that! Cleaning is quarantined.

  2. You have many wonderful items to look at and enjoy in your home. Crafts are my way of staying busy. I like to try new things...always challenging myself to learn something new.

  5. First of all, thanks so much for dropping by my blog and leaving a comment:) So what have I been doing??? Hubby and I have done TONS of yard work...really didn't realize we had so much to do! Yard has probably never been in better shape! I've also been reading, cleaning out/organizing closets and drawers (yet again), helping 2 grandkids with school work when needed, walking in the neighborhood for exercise, working on a scrapbook for grandson, watching two redbirds building nests on my porch, emailing or calling friends to keep up, and now reorganizing old photos!!!! I have to have projects even when times are not so crazy!!! I think I've discovered (in my old age) that I'm hyper:)

  9. Love the chandelier!! haha...Well staying busy with a move from last month, still unpacking and sorting and going through. Plus figuring out where I want to put stuff. On top of all that, trying to get the other house ready for selling. At 60 moving was not what I planned. But not only am I working at the other house I am working here at this one. Changing things up a bit, painting things....crazy. More then I would like to have on my plate but it is my life as of now. I really need to make the time to set up the craft room and do crafting or painting that way but I have things to do first. Totally love the title of your blog. Found you via Cheri Chatters.

  10. The toile is so pretty! I made a shift dress for my daughter years ago out of toile - she loved everything French and wanted me to make it, so your idea of a pant-suit made me smile. Love the pretty art, too. I love to hear that you are staying creative and busy. I've been trying to clean my outdoor furniture and get everything ready for good weather. We are still a bit soggy here in WA state. Also trying to find time to sew some living room pillows in between yardwork and babysitting the grands. Stay safe - take care. Hugs xo Karen
